The engraved one looks like a silver cuff button to me. The other one I have no idea although it is very big.:icon_scratch:

Any thoughts on 17 on bottom between 2 letters

The 17 and two letters (P Q?) look like they were added later. Maybe a mourning reminder? Initials and birth year? :dontknow: I'm just guessing...

I would date the cufflink to the second half of the 18th C. But again, I'm guessing a little. It could be the second half of the 19th C. Men wore cufflinks like this for 200 years or more.

Not a cuff button. It is half a cuff link. 18th C. Nice find.
