Coming home from. Beach road trip.not trying to impress
Anyone with the amount of detectors I own. Just looking
For input on how to bring less in car.this trip I took
Etrac best for I.d. items if hunting dry sand
Excal 2 great in water. N wet gets awful heavy tho.
Above machines also have rechargeable
Batteries and I hate buying batteries.
Hipmount sovereign minelab quality in case of misfire of
Excal or etrac.
My old faithful umax for lightweight when arm gets too
Tired for others. Along with 2scoops 3 diggers 2 pinpointers
Plus assorted manuals,chargers,pouches,reef booties
Old detector magazines.etc wife is about to hit the roof.
Which was before I mentioned next trip I'd like to bring
The at pro and and a cheapy bounty hunter.😀 as well

That's right, best tried while out to dinner at a upscale restaurant!

Sent from a spun out toilet paper tube (one ply)!
Why? Is it better to get stabbed with a silver knife than a stainless steel one?

If the problem is space, buy one of those roof top laugage carriers. Customize it with closed cell foam to protect the equipment. Best of all, out of site, out of mind = happy wife.

Well possibly! The reason to do it in an upscale restaurant is twofold: first is she is less likely to make a "scene" and the second reason is if she does happen to make a scene later on you would have a awesome story to tell and she would be even more embarrassed than if it happened in say Walmart! Red wine stains!

What I do and I only have a Girlfriend. When I take her I do my complete vacation with her, then I do my own treasure hunting vacations. Mine I can go out when ever I want and bring what ever I want. I do try and do one very nice vacation a year with her, and her only. No Treasure talk at all and it is all about her...

When the wife and I go to the beach, which is every 4-6 weeks, I take only my CZ20 and use it for whatever I do. If we go on a vacation that will allow for beach and land hunts, I will take the CZ20 and one other machine. Sometimes you have to make tough decisions for vacation.

I have a 2 seat car, so every time I go hunting I have to decide on only 2 detectors (plus the GoFind60, its so small it never comes out of the car). And my stable just keeps growing.

It reminds me of how we used to have a different surfboard for different conditions. Some of my friends would order or make them with the same colors so their wifes wouldn't know they got a new one.
I guess you can't do that with detectors.
I like G-Shock watches and I just purchased a camo Casio G-Shock and was keeping my hand in my pocket when my wife comes out to the shop! Lol!

Its not about how many I own, luckily!
She just wants access to food clothing and sundries.
Being the detectors are somewhat fragile they are packed
On top of everything else. I could use some hard
Sided cases maybe. But don't relish the assembly breakdown
Routine
