HELP ME ON THIS.....

Like I said earlier, I just got my ACE 150 yesterday but I'm having problem in pinpointing the target. Does it beeps when the target is below the center of the coil or as soon as the edge of the coil reaches the target? Can someone help me on this?

I've found with my machine (and it's a different one to yours), that the middle bit seems to do the pinpointing. I think the outer ring creates a resonance between it and the middle ring when the middle ring passes over the target.
Mind you I could be a million miles wrong with this reply , However mine always pinpoints with the middle ring.

Try practicing with a coin on top of the ground and see where the detector is when it starts picking it up.
