Some years ago a fellow came out with a new detector that had a control box that looked like a Tesoro but wasn’t, I believe it had a black control box. They weren’t around very log. I can’t remember the name, can anyone help me and has anybody seen any for sale?

Troy,.... designed by Troy Galloway and built by Tesoro to his specs.

There was the X2, (the one you're thinking of)
The X3, built by and serviced by Fisher.
and the X5, also built and serviced by Fisher.

The X2 was a dandy machine! My son learned on it, and excelled in competition hunts.

Cres,...... there is one, in nice condition, leaning against my desk.

Excellent machine to learn on.

Great idea Mr. Galloway.
