Help ring Id

My friend Jopher went out today, without me! He offered to take me, but my boy is sick. Anyway he came by the house and showed me a couple great finds. I was so overwhelmed that I, Cranked the sens. on the Ace up to 5 bars and hit the yard again. This little ring came out of its sleep at 6", the eagles look very familiar, but I cannot place them. There is one on each side and I am pretty sure the ring is brass. Any help Id'ing it would be much appreciated

MB, the house was built in 1938, although its location puts it in the back yard of the original farmhouse for this area, built around 1860.
I have found a Makers Mark on the ring. ->U<- This makes it a Uncas ring from Rhode Island 1918 to present. I would still like to know if it an organizational ring. The Eagles just look too familiar to me. Bongo
