Still working on getting an eye for gravel bars, I picked this up on a recent visit and I?m not sure why I even brought it home but I emptied my pockets for laundry and took a closer look. I think it?s a large flake. I see a bulb of percussion and erailiure scars. I think the chips up the edge may just be chatter. Any guidance would be appreciated. Can you get a bulb of percussion naturally in any way or is that strictly man made. I?m starting to see water worn artifacts are much more subtle. There is a lot of other flint that shows up on the gravel bars that isn?t common to the area I always assumed it was tumbling down from bridges or railroad tracks or anywhere rock may be imported now I?m starting to think it?s worth closer inspection
