There is no one spot where platinum reads on the TID scales/meters. It will depend on the size of the ring. But size-for-size, platinum is a slightly lower conductor than gold. So for instance: the same identical size & shape gold band will be higher than the same identical size & shape platinum band. Thus a platinum band that came in as nickel, would read slightly above nickel, if that size/shape had been gold, for instance.
