Hi guys,
Need help on getting rid of verdigris on this 1814 south american copper coin.
It's not an expensive coin, just want to save it from a sure death to this green thing.
Don't have access to hobby products or electrolysis, just toothpicks, brushes, vinegar, olive oil and the likes... :tongue3:
Thanks!!

I don't think much. Maybe just a wee bit of normal personality disorders we all experience these days. With all this online interaction that goes on it's hard not to be infected without even coming in contact with those who are effected. I wouldn't worry about it.

It's a great question to ask 1.5 yrs after it was posted up.

From knowing and interacting with the member while he was still here he posted that comment after helping out with solutions, and other things many times, with a mute from the OP of the thread.
It was wearing thin on him, and others that go to the effort of researching, and keeping things alive.

So typical of life in general though, 5% do the heavy lifting and 95% enjoy the benefits of their efforts.

I had a good :laughing7: when I read this image.

It describes me almost to a tee, then again I would say that most could pick 1-7 boxes out and say gee that's me.
Then they'd be doing the couch therapy in the their heads-which then it would open up another box.

#3-Many squirrels and birds have tilted their little heads when I have found a keeper while detecting-I'm only human. :laughing7:
#5/6- When I don't get in any mental therapy time in detecting.

Do you know if ' Verdigris ' can show up later on dry relics dug years before , I heard it can & can not (if completely dry ) , I'm still debating on coating some CW buttons , coins , tokens with Ren-Wax .?

Thanks
