Nokta FoRs Gold, a Gold Cube, 2 Keene Sluices and Lord only knows how many pans....not to mention a load of other gear my wife still doesn't know about!

Got to be some old wives tale. No way in hell that there is any science
associated with such a venture. Sounds more like a way to get damaged, IMO.

Well It will work if you add a meter. It is a method used to check variations of resistance in the ground which can indicate the presence of a cache. It is an old method, but you can still get the equipment from Accurate Locators Metal Detectors, Treasure Hunting Metal Detector .
