The Capital Archery Club in Edmonton bought a Garrett ACE 150 to search for lost aluminum arrows. They are not deep at all, and should be easily picked up under the coil. Run the coil over an aluminum arrow first to see where it should read. Good luck! I know some of those arrows are expensive.

check what it rings up probably in the 50's. Then find targets that are long. will be easy to tell when you get hits along a foot or two of length If the guy knows where they went into the grass another technique for him is to lightly (not to damage the arrow) drag a ax or blade thru the grass. hit the shaft and dig them up. My friends do this when their arrows end up off target and into the grass.

Yep, as mentioned test it on one not lost. Arrows can burrow a bit. They ring up good and loud though.
