Oh man... who cares what it would be worth? I mean honestly... to be able to hold something of that much historical value in your own hands... that would make me so excited to know that deSoto actually once held it in his own hands!!! Amazing...

What kind of cross did De Soto have?

Supposedly he lost a large silver cross when he crossed the Mississippi River. I remember studying this a long time ago, but I don't recall any sources.
