Today's P&S cameras are fun and always on the ready to capture really great shots. My little Panasonic ZS40 crapped out which was always fun to have on hand over the smart phone. I keep thinking I'll sometime get another one.

Great photo OV! We get a visit from the same type of Heron daily. We live near the Bolsa wetlands and get all kinds of exotic birds in our yard. They do make a dinosaur like sound.

I think there is a blue and a green of this specie. We see mostly the blue. We do catch many fish that have marks where they were missed by this great fisherman. Years ago I was stalking deer with a bow and saw movement by the creek I crawled over raised to my knees came to full draw and saw.... a blue heron, Lol.
