HI, I have been on here for about 2 months now but never made a post. I have been detecting for only about a year and a half now. My detectors are: my Whites M6, the Ace 250, the Bounty hunter quicksilver, and my handy dandy propointer. As you can see i have upgraded many time over the past year :D. I live In southeast pa just south of Reading. My oldest coin is a 177? K.G copper which I found in my backyard! I don't understand it because my house was built in the 80s. I also found an 1825 half cent and a 1917 Merc in my yard.
I looove our hobby!---Ben

Welcome Ben and you live in a good state to detect. There are quite a few members on here who find old stuff regularly. Look forward to your finds and post.Ron

Welcome to T-Net Ben.

Cool finds you've made. Folks carrying "modern" currency have been tromping the land for centuries here. Perhaps less likely to be found at a newer house but not too surprising either.
