Welcome from Michigan and don't get discouraged with the amount of trash you find. Many times there's a great find right next to the trash so get the trash out of a small area and detect it again slowly. Aluminum pulltabs, especially the older style that had to be removed from the can are plentiful and will read very similar to Gold jewelry! Enjoy and ask questions because there's an incredible resource of great people on this forum!
