Ok, here we go! I decided to pay a visit to the old train station today. Half of metal detecting I have learned thus far is visualizing where the goods are. I enjoy just driving and thinking about the past history and go from their.
Ive been metal detecting for about a week and a half now, and am starting to figure out the Tesoro Silver U-Max. I got a lot of clad today but no old ones. Then Wham, a loud beep. The kind that spelled LOVE! I struck Gold! A Gold Bangle bracelet! Holy Sh*@! ... After I patched up the grass I continued on. Then the same thing happened again! About 3 feet away, no really! It was the LOVE beep! all over again! I found another GOLD Bangle bracelet? I sure did. I could not believe it! The Bangle bracelets are marked 14k G.H. Mexico! SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!! Not bad for a Rookie,
I also payed a visit today at the Idaho Historic Museum and have acquired maps of Boise Idaho from the late 1800's, and 1900's. Way Cool!!!! Please see photos of todays finds!
Kind Regards, Marvin, In Idaho
