My winter mining location consists of a one acre basalt sluicebox, aka 'Mother Nature's Sluicebox'.
I've hit it twice this week with pretty good results for what little material I've processed.
Here's today's cleanup and the rest of the story is located at my blog Bedrock or Bust

Cha-ching!

Way to find the bling.

Nice offset shot with the silver and gold contrasting nicely in the pan.

All the best,

Great job finding and working a winter spot! I also just loved those pieces in your blog of host rock with gold all over them. Worth more as specimens than the gold value for sure!
