I don’t get many strong high tones out here in the woods. I got a strong 95 right as the skies went dark today. Let’s see what we have!

In my mind, I bet it’s an expanded 30 cal jacketed bullet… but it could be a silver coin!

there’s only one way to find out!

An Axe! That makes three axe heads from the property. I also found a few cut nails, maybe a forged nail. I’ll have to look closer when they’re cleaned up.
Edit: here’s a group photo of the other stuff.

I can’t wait to get back out there.

Here’s a group photo of the three axe heads I’ve found. All broken from being used as wedges, I think.
(The one in the bottom is split on the reverse side)

Those axe heads look like they all are of the same pattern. It's distinctive and you may be able to identify their manufacturer. The complete one at the bottom has a bulge at the handle hole indicating that it was pounded on the poll to act as a wedge as you suggest. It also has an indent on the lower side of the blade which is unusual in my experience except on some more modern axes. There might be a maker's mark on the side of the poll but the pounding on it may have obliterated it. Probably worth a careful check.
