if you are talking about overlaying historical topos on google earth, then yes they can be a little off, find the landmarks and get the coord. you want

Thanks , i have another question , are here a way where i can see goggle earth in the fall ? like when the leaves are off or is it always summer time ?

You can only see the photos posted, some areas were mapped in the fall/winter with no leaves. I think they try to skip the snow. The old version of Google Earth had a history function where you could move a slider to go back to about 1999.

Might try Aerial Photography - Maps - Research Guides at University of Kentucky for historic aerial photos.
