So far I haven't found any leads into finding and abandoned mines or historical gold panning locations. Need pictures asap for a college report. I was wondering if anybody in the maricopa county area would be able/willing to lead me physically to an abandoned mine or gold panning area if directions are not enough. Really curious/excited to find something that's been a big part of history. Thanks guys.

Gosh, when I was in college we had to do our own research, and we didn't have the new fangled interweb to help us. C'mon Big, use your puter like they taught you in the Seventh grade. We know you can do it! :headbang:

???

There are dozens of well known historical mines in Maricopa County. You obviously have a computer and an internet connection so you could start with a Google search for Vulture Mine. Or just go there for a tour.

There are many more. Try looking at the maps I've made just for this sort of research.

What college course is this report for?

Heavy Pans
