It was finally some decent weather here so I decided to hit a beach. Nothing crazy, but I did find an 1899 Indian head penny, a first for me and I hit the coin line and got about 7 bucks in quarters. I also posted a pic of an older token and an 1835 holed half that was found a week back. As well as a pocket watch probably from the 50's....... Man does it feel good to be digging again.....:laughing7:

Are permits require for NJ beaches/parks like here in NY? Just moved up and can't get an MD permit until I get new driver's id.

Thanks bud, no it's not like NY, you can detect beaches and county/town parks without a permit.. However, No state land whatsoever. There is some federal land that you may be able to detect with a permit. But most State land is off limits.
