Was a nice warm day in the mid 40's so headed down to the local creek to eat my lunch and do a little sluicing. got some lead and the usual -100. gold size is getting consistently smaller as I head downstream and I know where its bigger and where it isn't upstream. need to head up and work backwards till I hit gold again :)

Looks like a great way to clear the mind, get some fresh air and chill out to handle the rest of the day. A bud of mine in Sacramento detects the tailing piles around the UPS facility there and finds plenty of decent sized gold on his lunches-John

Its 8x36 that was a pretty good size estimate. That's about as long as I can go in this creek and get enough drop. The spot where I setup actually works better with my little 24, I can get more slope so the riffles exchange better.
