All Treasure Hunting
It took me a while to decide what spot I wanted to head to.. Finally I decided to go to one that had produced nicely in the past only to get there and find an awful lot of the sand from higher up on the bank had washed it in and covered a lot of it.
We stuck it out anyway my hat's off to my girlfriend for being a trooper she did more digging than a lot of guys I've been out hunting with didn't find anything huge but made a day of it. That's probably the biggest Sand tiger shark tooth I've ever found the photo doesn't even make it look as big as it is.
That half of a spike Meg. was a real heartbreaker.
Got an early start left by 2 p.m. got home before dinner it was a pretty good day all in all

How do you find the teeth?

Run material through a floating sifting screen

Thanks... It was a pretty slow day for what I'm used to but great overall day to be outside

Just wanted to add a better photo of how great the serrations would have been on this entire tooth more than likely

Question gator : would this method work at any river or only in parts similar to where your at

Not bad buddy! I don't recognize that section of the river. Perfect weekend for it. Have you noticed if the river has changed much this year? We had so much rain earlier and water was up for a while. Hope to get a weekend in the near future.

From what I saw along with what I've heard from several people south of Brownville got sanded in quite a bit... Of course there's always some areas that will be different but for the most part it seems like Brownville north has opened up pretty well.

Real nice finds thanks for taking the time to post them.

Thanks for checking them out.
it's funny you say that because after a long day of sifting that by my standards didn't turn out all that great it did seem like a lot of work to post anything

Looks like you had a great day out.

Yeah... I love that place.
Thanks rock

Good sized gators in the peace have any run ins? I had one come after my ol lady once, his skull sits nicely on top of my microwave now haha
