Nokta FoRs Gold, a Gold Cube, 2 Keene Sluices and Lord only knows how many pans....not to mention a load of other gear my wife still doesn't know about!

I wont be surprised if it was a eclectic car battery some will explode one cell of the battery at a time
Plus Vehicle Tires Don't blow on time like that.
One will Blow then till the fire Gets to the next one
Could be several Minutes Later as the fire spreads.

Could be a lot of things. I doubt batteries unless there were a whole lot of cells. I didn't count the explosions but there were many. My guess would be pressurized containers of some kind. Fire plus pressure vessels doesn't end well.
