[FONT=&quot]The unique collection of 2000-year-old artefacts, which includes a bronze bust of Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, fetched [/FONT]€214928.60[FONT=&quot] at Hansons Auctioneers’ May 20 Historica Auction.
[/FONT][FONT=&quot]As well as the bust, the Ryedale Ritual Bronzes, which were discovered in May last year by metal detectorists in Ryedale, included an equestrian statuette of the God Mars, a horse head knife handle and a large bronze pendulum.
