Better to see him on the trail cam than face to snout in the middle of the woods. He is HEWGE. You could name him Amos Moses....."He could eat up his weight in groceries". Ole' Jerry Reed tune. Lol

Y'all have wild hogs around Palestine? I have a friend that lives near Buffalo, not very far away.

we actually live far out in the woods

I want one! Why does everyone else have the cool stuff?:laughing7: They claim we have them in AL. I haven't seen one yet when camping. I think I saw a spot in the woods that they had all rooted up, bottoms of trees tore up. I'm waiting!! Soon as I see one it's going on the camp fire and in coolers! I haven't seen one in the wild yet. I keep looking!

Those in your pic are huge!! I didn't realize they got that big!! I hope to see one first because I'll bet one of those could mess you up!

I'm originally from Ohio, there was really nothing in the woods that would mess you up. We had big deer though. My wife and I bought land in AL. I came up to an area that was all rooted up. At first I thought turkey because a group of them will dig everything up. then I saw the bottoms of the trees about 2ft up or less, tore up too! Then I started thinking...What does that? An older guy down there told us wild pigs. I haven't seen any yet. But I keep looking!

When I say trees...In that area they are 8in or less, mostly 4 to 6 in. Not giant trees.

I think I'd prefer hunting rabbits before dealing with any of those hideous beasts, though it does look as if it could be challenging.
