I am still practicing in my own yard since we aren't very good at finding the target too accurately yet. We found mostly pennies--some wheat-found a ring from the Uncas Co, a token of a boat with sails on the front and "no cash value" on the back and todays find was an 1834 large cent in pretty bad shape--both the front and back are barely readable. finds of 5-26 and 5-27-2013 003.jpg finds of 5-26 and 5-27-2013 002.jpg finds of 5-26 and 5-27-2013 004.jpg . Sorry the close up pics aren't too clear. Connie

Thanks--we are having a lot of fun--our yard looks pretty bad:laughing7:---and if anyone is looking for rusty nails and bolts--I should be able to fix them right up--we have been throwing all the junk in a 5 gallon pail--it is almost full.

Is the ring silver or gold? Nice finds for a yard!

It is sterling silver--

I am sure there is more good stuff in the yard to find :-)
