A couple of my favorite River finds. Both were partially exposed in the sand. Two different sites. I am thinking possible a butchering site,or something else who knows since its only half of the skull on each one.

One is considerably larger than the other. And doesnt have as much curve.
I do know there was a larger bison that is much older than say ones from 100 years ago. Called the ancient bison.
or are they just cattle skulls.

Smaller one also has area you might be able to see looks like a bullet hole possibly.

Hope you like them.

It could be split in half due to age. I've found deer skulls in the woods that have been there for a while and have split like that. The jagged part in the picture is most likely when the center of the skull met. On a deer if you look close it almost looks like a puzzle piece and breaks apart fairly easy with age.
