I got this at a garage sale a few years back for $4.00 . It was missing the ring . My friend that owns a pawn shop gave me the perfect iron ring , but it broke when I was trying to bend it open to fit . I found another ring in our barn . This time I heated it with a blow torch , and it came out good . I went to the pawn shop and told him I finally fixed it and he could check it out on ebay - He liked it and placed the first bid . He won't have to pay shipping if he wins because I will deliver it to him . It is heavy .

Well that's one way to sell boat anchors. Freight has gotten pretty expensive. Still if it's something someone really wants, paying high freight is all part of the deal. Looking now on eBay. Someone bought a 250 pound anvil for $3750.00 plus $249.00 to ship it.
