I found a military button in the front yard of an 1845 home.
It is a waterbury button co. conn.
It is an air force eagle on crest with 13 stars
condition good
two piece button with soldered loop on back
How can I determine how old it is?
I'm not tech savvy enough to post picture, sorry

Well that's a good question, whisper sweet nothings, promise to respect her after and finally, a good restaurant. Rules I've learn't from spartacus ;D. Otherwise, try this site, it's mostly UK stuff, but you never know :dontknow: http://www.ukdfd.co.uk/

Good luck mate

The company was founded in 1812 and there's a museum with 10 or 12 thousand buttons on display.

I would find someone to help e-mail them a picture as they are the ones most likely to know. Lucky that its in good condition, a nice find !
