I have been searching in a wooded area and came across a swamp. It's only about two feet deep. How will two feet of water effect my two box? Will the two feet of water give me two less feet in the ground since I'm holding it two feet above the ground? Will the water cause other issues? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Does not hurt to try... first time hearing this scenario...
Would love to hear the results.

I have a little experience using a Fisher two box metal detector. If you have not purchased a two box metal detector--DON'T.

Beaches, streams, often cause false positives. After digging several holes 6 feet deep and finding nothing you may want to reconsider
using a two box near water.

If you want to talk more about what I do recommend --send me a private message.

Barton, can you say why you don't like a two box? Is it just Fisher you don't like? And have you tried it by a swamp? Can you elaborate?
