Hi Gold lovers !

Not to cast a negative view on the methods and success you might have had in your experience hunting inland, however, one of our top-level metal detecting Pro’s, username “digger27”, who has loads of gold Jewelry finds to his credit, offers a rather baffling outlook in the above Parkland gold link to those of us who haven’t been able to spend a similar tremendous amount of time honing our knowledge and skills in metal detecting for gold at inland sites.

In contrast with
inland hunting, I believe that for those who either (a) live by ocean beaches, or (b) can travel to ocean beaches periodically during the year and (c) have the health and perseverance to hunt long hours at ocean beaches, the odds of finding valuable Jewelry are much greater on average than at inland sites.

As digger27 said in the above Link (Paraphrased here), Sorry to burst your bubble, but all gold and where it comes in has more to do with the size, weight, shape , configuration and how it is laying in the dirt than the karat purity.

If your experience agrees with what digger27 reports in the above Link, then it appears that finding Gold Jewelry is a real “CRAPSHOOT” with no solid rules to follow. Nevertheless, to bring out the positive, with loads of experience and occasional shear luck, gold is still found inland !

As far as your personal experience hunting inland sites, do you pretty much agree with digger27’s post ?

Thanks,
