Found my first pipe today, while metal detecting a home site near Nashville. It appears to be copper or brass with a ceramic (?) overcoat that is coming off. Up close thru my loop I can see the remains of an intricate blue design. I know NOTHING about pipes. Anyone have any wisdom to impart? Is it old?
Thanks! Whit Hill

Thanks, everyone! Does anyone know who might be able to tell me more about it? I've looked at all the obvious google choices but can't find anything like this one (with copper stem and possibly clay or "meerschaum" bowl). Have a great day.
