How to tell if a rings titanium

Found a men's 4mm dome style silver colored ring in a lot that was a front yard from 1930's until the 1980's. It is light like aluminium but unbendable (I way 230 lb. and tried to crush it with my fingers.) The only mark on the ring is the word Germany on the inside) Sorry no pictures. Titanium?
