How to throw a knife

I would offer an alternative to throwing your knife....unless you are competeting in a contest.....I have always been trained to maintain control and procession of my knife....it does you no good in a survival situation if it's broken, lost, or in the hands of an assailant.....Gary

Thats why you have a tomahawk in your belt.I'll take a tomahawk over a knife any day.I have a french trade tomahawk(7 year war period) reproduction.Quite heavy,sturdy and balanced. It would have no problem at all splitting somebodies skull right down to the shoulders.

Not to bust you out,but I once read in a column by Jeff Cooper that the first rule of knife throwing in combat is"don,t".
