It looks good to me. The tires look too worn to be repop, and I doubt someone making a reproduction would make the tires look like that.

The tires also are making me think old,,,, I noticed the tank only has Harley Davidson on one side ????

It's real. The value in that condition is between $250 and $300. This is based on the sold prices of red ones in similar condition on Worthpoint. However having said that, the rider on your bike looks very strange. It looks like the cop rider by his clothing, but he is hat less. The hat is part of the casting mold. So either someone filed the hat off or it's defective or something.

Example- This one sold for $389 last year... https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/vintage-hubley-harley-davidson-cast-1864180439

Hi diggummup
The lack of hat was what worried me when i saw it and that being in England we dont see many US toys so having no real knowledge on them, Waiting for the item to be delivered so once i get it i'll upload some close ups,
I paid around $50 but it wasn't in a toy auction just a general auction

Thanks. I'm interested to know what that head looks like on a close up examination. Wondering if mold defect or old repaired damage.

Did someone grind the head down?

It all looks great except for that head. Almost looks like someone fashioned their own portion of the face on there, as well as done some major work on the head itself. Or replaced the entire head at some point. I'm at a loss. Does a magnet stick to the face portion of the head? Or is it bondo maybe? I would say a factory defect but the eyes and mouth (face) look to intentional for that.
