Hudson Bay Company? Lead token or bail seal identification help

We just picked up 3 lead holed bale seals with the letters HB on them. We are not sure the origin of these or who/what these were for if you could help it would be truely appreciated!!

Very cool pieces. Most all bale seals I have found and seen had iron wire smashed between the lead. Never seen them holed, maybe they are something else.
