So, my last post about quarters involved me saying a man had brought in several rolls of silver quarters, and that a teller bad bought 4 rolls for himself, and the rest were dumped into the coin counter. Well, I went to that bank today to get 2 boxes, and the man that had bought the quarters to start with, calls me over and lays out 4 rolls and said he had been waiting for me to come back?? And sells me 4 rolls of silver. No idea why. Lol. But I gave him an extra $30 for being so nice. Lol
Disclaimer: there was 1 clad quarter. Lol and 2 80% Canadians. 4 standing liberties.
Either way.. I was in shock! Never thought that would happen in a million years.
Also pulled 4, 40% from the 2 boxes. HH all'

That is something. Either they are not allowed to purchase coin from the draw or he has no idea they are worth about $900. Congrats!

Man, I am jealous... Nothing like that happens to me. I'm not greedy. I'll take even one quarter. LOL <j/k>
Sweet find man. Time to take some folks out to dinner, or at least giftcards to a local resturants.

Nice. I'm doing more quarters myself after thinking there was no point. I've got one so far and hoping to get lucky again soon. HH

Closest I've come to this is a teller once said to me "you are gonna like this" and handed me 8 rolls of 40% halves with the dates written on them. Sure enough they were all solid. Not enough days like this though to make this more than a hobby.

sick score, no wonder there are no quarters in the boxes I search, your getting them before they go in the coin counting machines.
