hello tnet members hunted a spot that i really wasnt sure of but it just kept getting better the clad was crazy good gas money,,but anyway.it has old history at the site ,found a 1952d 1953d dime 1927merc 1964quarter 1910 wheat. a late 1890s eary 1900s police button ,,found large size womens 14k ring and other ring ,,then before leaving wasnt sure about the target that gave up the large gold class ring ,but dug it anyway and wow i could see the blue stone and gold ,,funny thing that digging a target that most of the time im sure would be junk wasnt this time,,it was 6-7 inches deep i guess. was happy i dug it,1964 ,it is in the best shape dont look like it was ever worn, so maybe almost 50 years in the ground.i put tape over the name on the ring dont want to give up the location ,,,maybe i can find the owner ,,thanks for looking ,,always dig those iffy targets ,,thanks for looking also found those 1dollar coins

Thanks eboy! Yeah, I've resisted or just gotten plain frustrated digging the trash signals (they can be be very numerous in public places especially), but am getting better at just digging everything. It definitely rewards you with more interesting finds, but can make for a long tiring day of digging pull tabs! I like to cover a spot first just digging the high tones in the hopes of a few easy coin finds, then I'll go back over slowly, digging everything.
Congrats again on some great finds!
