South of Huron on my family property that runs along a creek. I have found thousands of Native American artifacts but this is one of my personal favorites. it is roughly 4 ins X 3ins X 1in. If you have any idea what this is or have seen anything like this before, please let me know. Any info would be appreciated.

Sorry, that is just a rock with natural erosion, if it was an effigy there would be signs of being worked by man on it, there are none, it is just imagination that sees the face just like cloud shapes in the sky.....

I like the way you think!

Yes. Thank you fot your comment.
When I first found it, I thought the same thing but then I picked up this an inch from it:

Perhaps it is a natural formation and if so, I'm hoping you are able to help me identify more details on it or you may know someone who can help with that. ?

That last rock looks like a weathered unpolished tigers eye

"Have you seen anything like this before"

Yes. They are the trace of crinoid stems or other cylindrical organisms that "fell out" of the rock as it turned to stone or did not completely fossilize.

The Brits & Celts called them "witch stones" and considered them lucky.

I found this rock in a creek bed last week, then a couple days later I found the biggest variety of old coins I'd ever found in a single day, so maybe the Celts were onto something...
