well once again, went to the old park hunting for gold.....and once again it turned into NICKEL night.....AGAIN!

I am not complaining, but sure would like to score a gold ring, I have dedicated a LOT of hours this season on digging low conductors specifically looking for gold, ANY gold......

I did score 3 more buffalos from this park, have gotten about 8 there this season. I don't think anyone ever digs nickel signals there. Got 2 buttons, and 7 wheats. The nails were in the holes with 3 of the wheats. I got a tiny little high blip, then null. Could not get it to sound diggable UNTIL I flipped it into TTF and the coin literally screamed out. TTF rocks.....oldest wheat was 1910.

ONE day, someday....I will dig gold!! I promise...lol :hello2:

One thing I can say is that trying for gold has gotten me a lot of knowledge on finding OLDER nickels. The etrac is a nickel magnet, but you got to be willing to dig BOUNCY low conductors to find em. The lowest one tonight was the real worn buffalo, it came in at 06-08
