I was hunting an old stagecoach stop from the 1850s and I found two interesting things. The stage stop would provide fresh horses and food. the first thing i found looks like it belongs on a horses bridle maybe. the larger piece is cast iron and i think it may be a cast iron pot lid. this is my first hunt so i am really excited about it. I wasn't expecting to find treasure, i wanted to pull up a piece of history from the ground...i love this thing!
