"Hunted out" park gives up a couple goodies!

Went to a local park that has been absolutely hammered for years. Numerous club hunts have been held here and I know of a couple guys that hunt it regularly. For only being two acres or so, I am amazed I keep finding stuff. Haha. Every coin was in a hole with trash. I haven't cleaned up any of the finds yet so pics are from right after recovery. Keepers from a two hour hunt included a 1945 wheatie, a 1910 "v" nickel, and buffalo nickel. HH!

People running to much discrimination because there afraid to dig the trash miss out on some good things. Nice finds

I dug alot of can slaw and trash that's for sure! I chose to hunt slower than usual and dig all iffy targets. I knew there was more there and there still is I'm sure.

Nice to see some motivation to get out to the hunted out parks.

If there's still trash there's always a chance of better finds. Congrats on your finds!!
Our last yard we hit we were told the small yard had been hit numerous times over the years. On the short hunt we had that day there, I foumd my first barber dime ever 5" from the front porch.

When in a "hunted out" place I open (all metal) the screen-up, turn up the sensitivity (if possible) and dig almost everything. Yes, I dig a lot of trash, but others use to much discrimination and leave a lot behind.

Exactly what i did! I had the AT Pro wide open with the sensitivity one notch below max. I dug one target that turned out to be a single BB about six inches deep. I was suprised.

Nice! I have yet to find a truly hunted out place in my area. There is always something to dig. As i was dumping my trash at the end of the day I got a possible new permission too! A guy from the neighborhood came up to me asking what i found. I showed him and proceeded to ask if his house was an older home. He said, "It was built in 1900 and the yard is probably full of junk!" so I slipped him one of my bussiness cards and told him to give me a call if he'd like me to clean the junk out someday. ;)

Its never hunted out until you can't even get a signal.
