I thought I would walk around the property and let you see what I see. Question? Ive been roaming this country since I was a boy.Black bears, coyotes,SNAKES!!!! I am pretty brave when I go out, but after I see a snake in a suprise,I find myself jumping at every stick and Brier that grabs my pants the rest of the way home. I'm so far out, your on your own. Anyway, all I found was the pottery shard early 1900s from the stagecoach area.Enjoy some beautiful country.Ray

Dont you know it.counting the days. My place is loaded. As you can see i use a crossbow. Problem is the deer move through here, and dont stay long. We got some good bait though. Ray

I live in the boonies too. ;D ;D ;D whoops, I missed the "n" key and hit the "b". ;D ;D ;D
Me bad!! I love the woods, and do a lot of walking, exploring too. But, I'm always alert for snakes I try to stay clear of a potential snake area and believe me I see some in your pics. :o

Superduty, enjoy your first bow season. Its a trip. You got some huge deer out there. Its legal to bait and use a crossbow here. truth is a good compound is much quieter. My crossbow is only good for 25 yards or so. they actually dodge the arrow, but when I used a compound I was good to 50 yards. My crossbow is a Horton. You know the deer aren't spooked during bow season and usually rutting good. Excellent advantages! Keep me updated Ray.

Hey RR, You sound spunky. Everywhere out here is snaky. close call getting these pics. A good pair of boots is a must. What state do you hunt and what do you hunt most. I do Indian artifacts, relics, fossils, bottles and poorly attempt to MD. I'm not even close to a MD post. Thanks Ray

Ray,

I'm in Southeast Louisiana...you know deep in the bayous & swamps. Believe me I have several pairs of boots all the way to hip waders. ;D I hunt Indian artifacts, fossils, relics, old bottles, crusty/rusty stuff, and whatever I find with the MD.

;) RR
