New Jersey....
The hurricane did more for the beach than Hunters in a lot of the South Jersey beaches. We were there birght and early right after the storm and there was no beach, mainly because it was covered with people, really strange because I have never seen that many people in the Summer. Instead of taking away sand, it mostly brought more in and leveled out the beach. We did get about $10 in clad and a broken silver necklace in about 2 hours but did still have fun. Most of the clad was between 5 - 8 inches down and a lot fairly recent. All in all it was a beautiful w/e and everyone had a great time despite no major finds!

Found the remains of a standing liberty quarter, it was worn thin to about 1/4 the thickness, remains of a watch that said it was waterproof (looks like it wasn't) and two wheat pennies, along with about $1 in clad.
