Found this today while out for a couple hours hunting for a silver coin. Didn't have any luck with the silver coins. Found a couple dollars in clad and this little gem. Love the little Tootsie Toys especially when the paint is still pretty nice. This jeep is in very nice shape.

Thanks for looking, and good luck hunting!

Nice!! I would take that anyday over a stinking Merk..I like the old toys..
But i geuss they are not old for YOU??
LOL

I started MD'ing 1976 and haven't found a Tootsie yet.

Cool Jeep, Congrats!
That is sweet. I love finding the tootsies and hot wheels. I have a 65 or 66 Mustang Tootsie made by the Lyndsney Co.(I think that is it) from England. It has a plastic lever beneath the driver's door, when you slide it front to back the front wheels turn. (and it works) If I remember correctly this is the only Tootsie made with steerable front wheels.

Hey, Steve and I spent many hours on the assembly line making those Tootsie toys.

Nice Beez nice. You know that I am a big fan of the Tootsies. I found a Jeep just like that a couple of months ago. I am including a pic of my 2014 Tootsies. I feel like Abe, always posting that Pine Tree Shilling on everybody's threads ... but I digress... Congrats on a nice save! GL&HH.

That cleaned up nicely - given the fact that when we spoke yesterday you weren't able to tell if it was a Tootsie or not. Congrats!

Hey Tom...........Every time he posts ANOTHER picture of that pine tree coin it gets a little thinner and a little thinner. At the rate he's going it will be an unidentifiable disc in less then a year. BTW, did you get that new box of specially made voodoo pins I sent to you for our little doll friends?

That Army jeep with original paint finish is kool and I like the steerable Mustang GT fastback .

1652 blah blah NOE 29 blah blah... old news. Next.

As for the pins, thanks, I have them soaking in salt water, so that they get a light coating of rust prior to insertion. My new screen name is going to be "Tetanus Tom".

See ya soon buddy!

Man you fellas get mean in your old age lol. Change those damned depends :-). I love you all! You know that
