Would you sell me the scope? I'm very interested.
Sorry , but it's not for sale right now . I'm sending it to a Mr. Davis in Ohio to have it re-blued .

I talked to him on the phone yesterday , very nice guy , He's a retired Unertl employee that has a buisness now restoring them . He told me to insure it for $1,500 when I ship it . :o
He said it will cost about $200+ for his work , I think it will be worth it .

Yes , he's very legit . He is highly recommended on many gun scope discussion boards I checked out . Everyone that had work done by him was very pleased . They all described him as very honest and highly qualified .

You sure the scope is worth spending $200 on? What do you figure your return on that investment is?

You got it for $5, after all.

If you don't plan to shoot with it, then what?

Just asking..................

These used to be the best scope for bench rest and varmint shooting, but since then there have been gigantic advances in optics and technology. Nightforce and Leupold are the hot scopes now.
