I bought a large doll with a cracked leg $1

My wife LOL we put some cloth's on the doll. Kept her in my kid rocker for years.
My friend was coming to visit Wife said time to get rid of the doll.
I put it on eBay for $25 wife sad I was nuts.
5 day's later the bidding went crazy lady paid me in a few minutes over $179.
She was so happy and replaced the leg.

Wife never ? my finds at garage sales.
Even when I told her I bought the house at garage sale.

I alway's leave the cash on the island counter for her.

That's writing conversationally. It's like poetry. I understand it. CMan bought a doll a long time ago and at his wife's urging to dispose of it, he put it up for auction on ebay. it bid way up in the last few minutes and the winner paid instantly. She was happy to have it and fixed the dolls broken leg. Now CMan's wife doesn't question his garage sale purchases, and he shares his wins with her. I like the way CMan said it better than my own mundane interpretation, which left out all the nods and winks.
