I can't believe this!!!!!

Well... I was leaving the house and spotted a dumpster.... And of course I had to look.... Before you see the pics, you need to know that I'm a carpenter..... I'm going to upload the pics now and I'll add descriptions later, but those who know what these things are will know why I'm so happy right now...

So far, I have 2 4 foot double handed saws... a really cool little coaster with a meat grinder ad on it, a pile of assorted lathe gouges and other tools, a nice set of antlers, 2 draw knives, a neat old belt buckle, and a duck call I need to check out in detail, and a huge old wood workers vise..... ALL FROM THE TRASH!!! I wish I had more time to dig.....

If it hadn't gotten to be so late at night I'd still be digging... I just know there are some good things on the bottom and I'd love to still be digging, but this time of night, the neighbors might object....

Awesome finds, those are some good looking saws. I know a few guys that would pay good money for just the handles. That's a dandy whitetail to. Nice score

Looks like they left some nice old stuff behind. I'd keep an eye on that dumpster for awhile. Could have been a neighbor or someone unauthorized to use it that was sneaking over at night to pitch their stuff. There could be more coming.

Yep, what kind of oxygen mix are you using for those dives??
Congrats

Last night I was using a mix of Dr. Pepper and ice :laughing7:, I managed to pull a few more things out today and I'll put some pics up soon.

I tried looking up the little meat grinder tray and found a couple for sale on ebay for what seems like way too much money.... I really like the fact that it has steam and electric on it.... I can't imagine the home kitchen models connected to a steam engine, but I'll bet the big ones were impressive....
