I was cleaning out an office building at work and was told to throw away whatever was left.this was in a box wrapped in cheese cloth. Looks an awful lot like T-rex

Possible? Is there a ridge going down towards the tip? ( Not perfectly round, slightly flat on the sides? )

Yes; some type of pre historic meat eater, fossil tooth. Could be ''Monosaurus'' tooth (sea dwelling creature),or carnivorus land dweller. The tooth seems a little small for a t-rex. Nice save. :thumbsup:

it's definitely a prehistoric need meat eater. cousin of tyrannosaurus rex. or juvenile

Had to come back for a second look.. WOW. Even if it is not a t-rex tooth, it's still one of the coolest things I have seen on Tnet. Not sure if it can make banner without a proper I.D., but it should. Thanks again.
