I enjoy everyone's finds...Here are some of mine.

All this treasure (or junk to some) was found with my Whites XLT in a variety of places. Most was found at a local high school and surrounding tot lots. I have hunted some old homesites and this garnered me a 1898 IH Penny, but the silver still eludes me. Oh well, location, location and practice, practice, practice. Enjoy the pics. I sure do enjoy looking at everyone else's!

Note: A very special Thank You to MasterEagle22 for his never ending search for the best places and his hospitality while detecting. He is a friend indeed!

BB,
I could sit and look at those pictures all day. VERY well presented! You have found a LOT of cool stuff. I've never thought of keeping the zippers I find, but after seeing your collection I may. Good idea.
My favorite has to be that green 1970's (?) enduro motorcycle. I had a Kawasaki in the 70's that looked like that. Any writting on that toy?
Thanks for the post,
MM

If you found the lock and key at two different times, I want you to buy me some lottery tickets.

Nice finds and pics! Welcome to the forum. That XLT is a nice machine, I found some great finds with mine and a 400 year old gold coin but, I upgraded to a Minelab XT-70 and I'm having a lot of fun with it. HH, Mike

Actually, The key was in the lock and the lock was "unlocked". It fits my treasure box perfectly. I couldn't believe it! I guess some kid was running around with it and dropped it in the wood chips. Unbelievable what we find sometimes.

The Musicians Buttons were a cool find. They were off of Band Uniforms and I found them at our local sports field.

Yeah, I have found a lot of variety items, and a little money. It is, however frustrating to never find silver. I will keep hitting potential locations and perhaps some day I will find some.

I would sh*t if I found a 400 year old coin. Nice going. My finds pale in comparison to that!

Neat finds, I like the way you have them categorized. My favorite is the chest of coins...Kudos!

That XLT is a great machine and you will be finding some silver. It is deeper though. Remember that the signals will degrade as the target gets deeper,a lot of times the sounds and numbers will move towards the iron range on deeper targets. Ive found that when I have a deeper target if I swing over it say 4 times,I may only get the good sound and or ID once out of the 4 swings, but I can do this epeatedly. If you ae in an area you know must have silver you must dig a lot moe of the iffy tones. You found an indian you are in the right spot, now dig some more of those little bitty iffy tones and bring us some silver!...Shoot

Thanks for the tips. Although I have been digging deeper targets, I guess I didn't know about the little bitty iffy tones. I am still learning this detector and trying hard....Thanks for the tips!

Wow, nice selection of just about a little of everything! My favorite has to be that clad chest..........looks like another few dollars and it may overflow......I need to find me a small treasure looking chest to put my clad in. WTG.........btw.......nice I.H., if you found that, there is surely silver somewhere in the mix. You'll hit it sooner or later.

Nice finds. Looks like you are doing the right things. The silver will come.

I have a friend who has an XLT. He has made some good finds but last year he came out hunting with us a site where most of the good coins were 4-8" deep. We had him come over and check some signals that we knew were deep coins. He was surprised when he couldn't pick them up. However, he then made some adjustments, and some more adjustments and then he could get almost all the signals Nate and I were getting.
